Liberty Cup – Cristie Kerr, two-day Charity Golf Event
Windows were shaking, the branches were broken off, and flooded many roads in Metro NY but managed to avoid the worst of Hurricane Irene.
Most subways in New York City, buses and trains will be back tomorrow morning to normal after a total shutdown waiting for what might have been a far more destructive weather phenomenon.
Better yet, the next few days should be dry and sunny. This is good news, especially if you have an important event charity set up golf … and this is the position Cristie Kerr is in this week’s mega-star of the LPGA will host two-day inaugural tournament Cup charity golf Freedom.
The event kicks off tomorrow evening with a welcome reception from PH-D, an otherworldly place on the roof of the new Dream Hotel. Tuesday, golfers and professional players in the world Sports & Entertainment in Jersey City and head breathtaking Liberty National Golf Club for the Liberty Cup Pro-Am. The day will end with a cocktail reception, dinner, auction and awards benefit and Kerr Birdies for Breast Cancer Foundation and Christie Kerr Women’s Health Center in Jersey City Medical Center and other charities in Jersey City.
